Manchester City Secures Gianluigi Donnarumma Transfer

Gianluigi Donnarumma has officially joined Manchester City from Paris Saint-Germain.

The transfer fee is approximately £30 million for the Italian international, who is leaving last season's Champions League victors.

At 26, Donnarumma is anticipated to take over from Ederson following the Brazilian goalkeeper's confirmed transfer to Fenerbahce in Turkey.

During his time with PSG, Donnarumma contributed to a treble-winning season. He also achieved success with Italy, winning the Euros in 2021 and earning the Player of the Tournament title for his performance, particularly in the penalty shootout against England in the final.

He began his professional career at AC Milan, debuting at just 16, before moving to PSG in 2021. Now, he has committed to a five-year contract with Manchester City.
